C2D Upgrade?

Hey there

Well I am interested in upgrading my motherboard/cpu/ram to a Core 2 Duo setup. I currently have:

Athlon X64 3200+

2GB DDR Ram

Radeon HD3850 256MB (PCI-E)

I don't intend upgrading the graphics card as I have only just bought it but I want to upgrade from single-core Athlon to dual-core Intel. Basically want I want to know is, how much do you need for a good but budget Core 2 setup including the motherboard/cpu/2gb ddr2 ram? Could someone spec a budget C2D build including the components I have asked for less than £200, maybe £150? I will be using it for gaming all the time lol, and I have the GPU covered.

Are you going to be overclocking?

Erm, I may be yes, I want the option of overclocking.

Could go lower on ram and CPU but I have this ram and it runs good for me 4-4-4-12 850Mhz I am running it at and it can go higher, mobo is good stability too, obviously overclocking is just luck and all chips are not the same so awsome overclocks is not gaurantee but that should not be bad

, its really confusing when buying hardware and there is so many different good setups for the price you can buy.
