C300 128gb

I have this card fitted in a Asus x48 motherboard with a 256gb c300 and it works pretty well. gettings 346MB/S read speeds. So I see no reason it won't work in an even newer motherboard like you have.

father ted (lol)

your dont NEED a sata 6 card, its just your sequential reads that will be bottle necked by the sata II connection. I run a C300 on my UD5 and its epic.

The c300 will work without the u3s6 card but then for the sake of £26 you may as well and get a better performance from it. Plus you also get a couple of handy usb3's as well for the money.

The ASUS Sata3 card was no good for me in the end.

Took an age to install W7 64bit, then the system ran really slow, with constant system hangs.

Disconnected the ASUS card and plugged the C300 into the Intel Sata2 ports and it flies (obviously not as fast as Sata3, but there you go).

I tried various things but the ASUS Card simply diod not like my mobo or was conflicting with something in my system.

Anybody wanna buy a cheap ASUS Card before I list in on Ebay? :o:p

As part of the distance selling laws (assuming you bought it online) you can return the item within 7 working days after receiving it. All you really need to say is that you didn't like it, that should be enough.
