Hi guys,

I have the following setup:

1x RealSSD 64GB (Max. of 75MB/s) on marvell port
1x WD Black Caviar 1TB (64MB Cache) on marvell port

Both devices are hooked up on Sata III because they are, indeed, Sata III capable. Anyway, I have run the benchmark on SSD and yes, it goes as far as 69, 70MB/s but when I refresh my WEI (Windows Experience Index), it says I'm at 5.9, which would be the bottleneck on my computer. So, should I trust whatever WEI is stating or do I have to change something?
Also, sata ports are configured on BIOS as RAID and marvell as AHCI. On Windows, it says TRIM is activated.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Ignore the WEI figure, it's an arbitrary value which cannot be properly related back to any measurable factor. If you're worried about disk/SSD performance use a proper benchmarking tool.

That's what I thought. I'll ignore WEI figure. Probably in the future I'll get a second SSD and set up a RAID 0 to get double of space/speed.
Thanks.
