Do cabinets make much of a difference?

I'm only after a smallish 15U rack as i only have a Dream Machine and will add a switch at some point. Then i have an Intel Nuc, Reolink NVR and the Starlink router and then various server hubs (Phillips Hue, Zigbee etc)

At the moment things are on a shelf and get quite warm so conscious of having plenty space for airflow. However i've seen a huge variance in price from around €80 to €600 and wondered if there's anything i need to be considering?

This seems a mid ground of price

Or do i even need than and this would be fine?

If you have a method of collection you can normally find 2nd hand cabinets for a fraction of the price of a new cab. Alternatively, you could buy some rails and build your own.

For cooling, go with a vented door over glass, some cabinets also include fans to help with airflow.

Consider cabinet depth taking into account any cabling and future switch/firewall upgrades.

Cheers, will have a look around on marketplaces, although probably slim pickings vs the UK as i've found when looking for things previously.

I'm hoping cabinet depth can be minimal, my dream machine is only 30cm and i assume most switches would be similar. With cabling i think 45cm probably is fine.

Wonder if i can remove the glass and add some mesh myself. Most seem to include glass!
