Anyone recommend the best stuff to hide the colour underneath i looked into this a while back but everything i looked at seemed to show the cable colour underneath. Ideally going for black braid and heat shrink on a corsair HX 750

1. where can i buy it in metres
2, where can i get the tools to remove the pins from the atx connector, molex etc etc

Everyone tends to use them I think.

Pretty sure W3bbo does in most of his builds, and others do as well.

Not sure what service/shipping is like, but they definitely make the best braid.

Not sure if they count as a manufacturer though, as, as far as I'm aware they're a producer much like Corsair etc...

I got some from them last week. Nils shipped on the same day, and it took ~4 days to arrive. The quality is outstanding, and much better than some other braids that I've used. Plus his user's guide is good. Best part is the pre-cut heatshrink...

Wow they seem awesome... wish I had known about them before my build!

You can say that again i just looked through the entire website and everything seems perfect. Just debating what to buy

shopping list so far atx remover, molex remover, sleeve kit to do pretty much all my wire, pre-cut small heatshrink.

How long can you expect it to take to do the ATX connector

Does anyone know what size of the MDPC braid and shrink i will need to do the pci-e cables i want to do a single braid so 8 wires and i want the shrink to cover the back end of the connector. Like the mdpc reventon build

Took me around 3-4 hours to do about 8 inch's on the end of the ATX 24 pin.

I heard them tools break very easy, all I used was two small pieces of copper wire, like you get in aerial coax cable in the middle, just pinched the end of the cable flat and used pliers to push them in, once you get the hang of it, it is a good method, once they are in take your pliers and grab the wire from behind and pull.
