Hey guys

At the moment my case is really load when all the fans are on full,

I have Sunbeam Samurai case (I think) I got cpl of years ago for my first build. It has 2 x 80mm fans at the back, 1 x 80 mm fan on the side and 1 x 80mm fan at the front

Will high quality fans reduce the noise?

Also my case is a complete mess inside, just interested how you guys organise your cables?? I do like the look of the A.C Ryan FlexSleeve kit, anyone know if its any good??

bigger (92/120mm), decent fans like yate loon, sharkoons will spin at less rpm and still shift more air than 80mm fans so i would start there.

Its because they are 80mm fans. Always noisey. You could probably get quieter ones, but ive never bought any of the 80mm flavour before.
Lots of cable ties, lots and lots of cable ties. ;)

pick up a copy of Custom PC mag.

in the current issue 049 they've got a whole section on how to manage cables and placement of fans etc.

pop into WHSmiths and flick to page 102

cheers for the advice benji ill go pick up a copy

Only reason 80mm are used is because thats all the case can take, so basically can i assume that higher quality fans won't be much better??

But ill get my cable ties out and have a go

Cheers for the help guys

i've got one of them see thru cases and its got 6x80mm fans of the LED variety

and i cannot wait until i complete my new build. goodbye to the plastic hovercraft.
