Ive just changed cases from an Antec P180b to an Antec 900 and ive found the cables quite hard to manage in this case.
I pulled the braiding back on the 8 pin power cable and ran it underneath the mobo, I was wondering if this was safe?
Any other tips on tidying it up would be good as im a bit of a rookie at this :)

thanks

afaik running cables underneath the mobo is fine aslong as metal doesnt touch metal, i think thats right anyway.

i remember with my old build i ran most cables underneath the mobo and just taped them down to the side of the case, ended up looking quite tidy :D

On my Thermaltake armour, i used a dremel and cut 2 sqaure holes one on the side of the mobo for the main mobo powerlead and all my other fan and powerlead cables and one on the top for my 4pin mobo lead and my 2 fans :). Only thing is the Akasa 45cm cables are not big enough to put behind the mobo tray :(.

there are modular power supplies now to make cable management easier :D

It is modular :)

Thanks for the replys, I will try braiding the sata cables as suggested.
Whats the best stuff to buy?

Thanks

looks alright to me. For a second it looked like a Stacker. IMO I wouldn't be anal about cable managment, as long as cables aren't covering entire drive bay slots.

The cables are out of the way, and that's all that matters. Similar to mine, same PSU, similar design too, PSU at the bottom, drive cages
