Cable management

Sleeve as much as possible. Use spaces like spare hardrive bays, above PSU, behind motherboard etc to hide any rogue cables. Also if you have a soldering iron, don't be afraid of extending cables to route them better. Also sometimes vidible cables really don't look that bad as long as they are presented well, ie; sleaved, bundled together with cable ties and in nice straight lines.
 
Proper cable forming using ties looks good but takes time. If the colours of the individual cables stay true from one end to the other and they are formed into shapes matching there surroundings and not restricting airflow even better. Or you could use shower hose or any other after market sleeving.
