What I am looking for is some sort of trunking or other cable management that you stick/fix to the underside of a standard office desk.

Can anyone recomend a product and preferably a recomended supplier for the stuff (without it being a competitor ofc).

Or am I not making any sense?

I use the grey trunking with cut out side bits. Heres a pic.

Available from pretty much any electrical distributers. CEF (City Electrical Factors) Sell a range of sizes and sell to the public from the trade counter. A run mine on top of my desk, and it looks quite neat. Homever, mine is against a wall and the desk is quite full of stuff. You can snap out parts to make bigger slots and is quite versatile stuff.

You can get this funny 'twizly' stuff from places like Woolworths, JML, Argos and I think a few big IT Shops sell them. It involves placing the wire in, attaching the re-usable zipper, running it up the length and it binds the cable together. We use it at my school, keeps everything tidy, but not practiacal if you decide to bind in ethernet cables etc... as these at some point might want to be replaced.

here is an image of the stuff.

Another vote for this stuff i swear buy it, nothing else can handle the sort of volume i have. Its great for just screwing pre cut sections to the back of your desk and your sorted.
