And yeah that looks like the PSU cable tidy, its what is actually in built with some PSU's.

I'd be intersted in knowing what PSU he has if it doesnt have braiding because AFAIK all DECENT PSU's have some form of braiding.

Braiding sounds about right. My PSU doesn't have it. Can it be bought separately? I like the look over the usual wrap around style.

yes it can be bought separately, it can be tricky and time consuming though, also expensive

You wont need to braid the corsair. And I would replace ASAP.
