Cable tidy

Not sure where to put this but here should be alright.

I just moved into new place and have a new desk (at last woo!) a JONAS from ikea. Only downside is the damn cables from monitor/speakers/pc all laying around on floor. I hate it lol I have seen some of the desks of guys on these forums and they are real neat and tidy, I dont seem to have the cable tidy skill :p

Tips/useful items to tidy em all up? I hate having them laying around on floor! :cool:
 
Cable tie them all together, and wrap them in some visually appealing cable tidy then tie them to the leg of the desk. This is what ive done, but avoid including the mouse cable, its always nice to let this one have its own space. :D
 
Cable Ties / Zip Ties / whatever you call them.

Mostly it's all down to hiding the cables behind something, then securing it in place.
 
Get stick on cable clip thingies (The square ones) and secure to the underside of the desk. I run grey trunking on the top of mine with slits down the side to route the wires where i want to. But the mouse has full free reign and isnt included.
 
i've just sorted my desk out. i bought a usb hub and stuck that to the back of my desk where it can't be seen and have all my bits and bobs plugged into that with the cables also stuck to the back of my desk, so i only have one usb cable going into my pc. looks pretty tidy... apart from all the power cables on the floor!
