cables behind mobo route

is it ok to run small cables ( fan ) actualy behind the mobo
im using antec1200 and i have a set of fan cables that i cant route anyother way that they dont show other than behind the mobo ( not were all the cable management is )
just thought id check before i do it and blow something up:D
 
I'd say yes, if they're loose. If it makes the cable tight when you tighten the mobo back down then I'd say not.
 
yes it should be fine just make sure that the cables dont get caught on the stand-offs it could cause a short and no end of problems.
 
I have actually done this before and didnt have a problem. But ive wired the fan a different way now so no more need, as others said you should be ok if you make sure the wire is not stressed behind the mobo.
