anyone recommend a good cables for a gpu radeon powercolor rx 6800 xt,
the original cable is damaged i need to replace them.
any help would be much appreciated, have a corsair type4 but it dont fit.

Aren't all 6800xt (aib and mba) using the same power port design - 2x 8pin pcie?

If the Type4 do not fit, rather than buying a brand new cable which could cost more, have you tried running 2 bog standard pcie extensions? Thats what i run for mine

https://www.amazon.co.uk/EZDIY-FAB-Sleeved-Cable-Extension-Combs-Black/dp/B078WS5FYV/ref=sr_1_3?crid=39AOFGEVU13I3&dchild=1&keywords=ezdiy+cables&qid=1632054594&sprefix=ezd,aps,175&sr=8-3

I'm sure the link above does individual cables too
thanks for that, was looking for two cables as the ones i have are damaged so need to replace both.

Before you go buying anything what make and model is the psu? It's important because you should only use cables designed for a specific psu or you can easily fry something and end up with a expensive and completely avoidable bill. How on earth have you managed to damage your cables? If it's just the plugs that you have somehow damaged then you could just get replacement plugs and there are plenty of guides on youtube on how to remove the pins, just make sure you put them in the new plugs in the correct positions. Without further information on the psu nobody can safely suggest any replacement cables.

Corsair RM750x Gold Certified 750W PSU..(16/11/2019) thanks "pastymuncher the plug is ok as far as i can tell, seems to be a broken cable where the cable was bent away from gpu to the psu.

I know the cables are very stiff (I have a RM850x 2021) but it's very unusual for one to snap. In your circumstances I would try Corsair for a replacement as they may want your cable back to understand why this has happened.

The Corsair cable compatability guide does say type 4 so I don't know why the one you have doesn't fit. Again, try Corsair as I think they sell individual cables otherwise there are cable sets (very expensive) from the likes of Cablemod or even try contacting the aftermarket cable companies and see if they will sell you single cables.
