Cadbury Monkey Ad

I saw it for the first time today, and was spellbound. If it weren't for the bit at the beginning that identifies it as a Cadbury ad, I would have thought it was a trailer for some niche comedy programme that fancied a pop at Phil Collins (he's a popular target for some reason)...

I liked the ad. Great music, and a gorilla that keeps one guessing.

My Mum and I saw this during the Lord Of The Rings. I knew it was Cadbury's from the purple background. I knew the music. Something told that when the drums came in the gorilla was going to do the drumming.

And he did! Mum found it funny, but wondered how on earth it promoted Cadbury's chocolate. It was better than the Yellow Pages wedding organisers from Northern Ireland.

Advert: meh, i don't think it's gonna make me buy more Cadburys stuff. The advert is a bit too long too.

It's going to be a series of ads surely? The ad is too long to be used for every ad break, so they'll come up with a shortened version perhaps?
