Tastes like garbage and has an odd texture when melted leaving an odd aftertaste.

Lowered the cocoa content and replaced with sugar?

Yep they ruined it, as with all take overs they promise nothing will change and then change it anyway.

Still marginally better than the vomit flavoured American chocolate they do, but thats not saying much! Definitey gotten worse

I think it's the palm oil that gives it that greasy texture and flavour.

Yeah, not as good as it used to be. I notice it more in the Easter eggs that used to taste sublime. I still like a Wispa Gold though.

Yeap, "gritty" is a the best way I can think to describe it now. Not that I'm a huge "must buy chocolate" guy but I might get the odd Solid or Caramel bar once in a while and I've stopped doing that due to the taste.

I find it tastes really sweet, it actually hurts my teeth in a weird way, same with Roses. I don't get this with any other chocolate.

I don't eat loads of chocolate but will normally go for Galaxy, Mars or Yorkie. I get Lindt as a treat or Hotel Chocolat.

I went right off Cadburys chocolate when I got sold off. More sugar than chocolate in it methinks. No better than Hersheys these days.
