I have one of these,

and it has a blue LED in the front. However, after I installed a 500GB 7200.11 (removed jumper and set it to SATA2) the blue led will turn on and then off after 1 second when I turn the device on.
Before with an old 7200.9 SATA 1 was always lit.
I wonder if the circuit does not support the disk? even though the disk is showing up in windows.
The device does not support SATA 2?
