The release trailer looks like a low effort tech demo at best. Seems the only thing interesting about it is DX12 and it's unknown if the demo has DX12 support.

DX12 ought to be seen as supplementing development - not becoming it. A good game trumps flashy graphics every time. That said - I'm looking forward to seeing a good game + DX12 combination..
