Call of Duty 4 Beta Players

I have a question. Are you able to change the control configuration in the Call of Duty series on the 360? I tried the Call of Duty 2 demo off the marketplace last week and its great so i'm looking forward to this. But in the demo the controls were fixed for right handed people. Is there a Southpaw option?

I'm assuming they're using the US beta on US live accounts created before MS brought in the IP restrictions.

Since there is no mention of an EU beta anywhere, and my friend at infinity ward isn't even sure if there is going to be one.
 
I'm in the UK using my UK gamertag and playing no problem. There is a lot of hassle surrounding european players right now though. I just get insulted when playing sometimes because I'm not American.
 
It says the beta will be avialble to the EU early september. I take it this means there will be another registration session?
 
Anyone want to let me recover there account so i can download it to? the game isn't linked to the account so everyone on here could do it this way also
 
just had a quick go, looks like a good game :)

i'll probably be on this most of the night - back on the nightshift from tomorrow night though :(
 
Good luck getting in, if you signed up for the beta yesterday then rumour is everybody should be getting in. There is 87,00 tokens/keys available?
