Call Of Duty 4 - Trailor

Looks awesome... Would love to see a Nam version though. Fighting charlie in the jungle, mashed up cities, booby traps etc... :D It would HAVE to have sarge out of full Metal Jacket in it...

Maybe I'm just bored with the CoD series and war shooters in general, but the trailer didn't make the game look like anything special.

Nothing we havn't seen before 20+ times.

Looks very interesting, hope they can pull it off, will be different as it won't be too history based I reckon.
But guess they couldn't keep on making WW2 games, although I still wish for an WW1 game or american civil war one :D

I think that looks terrible, crap, poor and budget-fied.

Seriously, i'm not a CoD fan boy. But from playing one and two, and from seeing the fourth, it looks crap. Seems like a bloody story rather than campaigns you'd get like British, American or Russian. I take it most of the game will be based on lack luster skirmishes based in Iraq, Sommalia, and Afghanistan! :(

Wow, it does look really good. I just hope the settings change abit over the game. I think I'm more bored of seeing sand than seeing the Normandy landing.

Should still be fun to play though.

The day single player dies is the day good games with original content and compelling story-lines cease to exist. I guess you're too young to remember some of the greats.

Agree with you there RD..

lol how anyone can argue which is played more in cod series multi or single player.most people i know dont or havent even put the single player on once.

Complete opposite for me. I've never touched the multiplayer, but I thought the single player was awesome and one of the best FPS games I've played in a long time.

PC DVD-ROM coming fall 2007 from activision.cod series normally launched late october over here or earlier november so guess thats what there aiming for.

Counter Strike? I dont play it, but I dont agree. When I play a SP game there is always something missing no matter how good it is. Who cares about a story line? Thats what books and films are for.

IMO I wish they would have just concentrated on the MP side with the SP as an after thought not the other way round. No doubt it will be released without Punkbuster yet again.

What about counter-strike? And who cares about storylines? Those who like a little depth to their gaming. In my opinion playing a PC game should be no different in principle to reading an enthralling book, or watching a great film.

Ever played TIE Fighter? Freespace 2? Jedi Knight II? I could go on...
