Whoever said earlier in the thread that the game looked like a PS2 port needs their eyes testing. While they're by no means stunning shots, they certainly aren't as bad as some people are making out.

Those complaining about performance on multi GPU set ups should try running the game on one card. Most new releases have issues with multi GPU set ups. I know I've been bitten before, which why I've given up on multi GPU set ups.

It's virtually unplayable for me;

In multi-player the map takes about 60 seconds to load and the loading icon splutters along in fits and that's with my Steam library on a Samsung 840 Pro.

I've done all I can to remove the W8.1 mouse lag issue but it still persists in game and by the time you've spotted someone and moved the mouse to aim you're long dead.

Awful FPS/Performance - See sig for rig details but I can achieve 80-160 FPS at 1440P in BF4 @ Ultra but I can't get much more than 30-40 FPS in Ghosts?!? It feels, and plays, like you're watching an old 8mm movie which stutters along.

It's too late for me but to anyone considering buying this stay well clear.

if you have the 8.1 mouse lag im sorry you have to reinstall your op system again its a bug with win 8.1. it isnt present on 8.0. cod is one of the main things it effects and the reason i went back to win7 for now.

basically its like being capped at 30 fps but still having high fps playing so your natural aim is effected. it is really bad and as just posted its mainly on win 8.1. on win 8.0 it isnt a issue. microsoft have fixed it or commented on it. this isnt a small isue either many gamers are effected.

MS have promised a patch/update soon so I'd rather just hold out than revert back to a previous Windows install.
 
I'm getting mouse lag had this problem on black ops 2 stop playing it, same problem on this game, when i play MP mouse seems to go everywhere spazzing out, i want it to go one direction goes the other way

previous MW2, MW3 and Black ops was fine

2500k stock
8gb cosair vegence
gta570
windows 7 64bit
logitech g9 mouse

I'm hoping this means we will get a patch of some sort that will allow us to use higher textures then the crappy upscaled 720p ones we have at the moment.

I didn't know people still used auto detect, i've always cranked it up to max and then gone from there as to whether i need to tweak settings or not.

I've tested myself and even with everything on Extra and it dosen't look as good as this. Will take a comparison screenshot when I get home. Could be me dreaming
 
I haven't played it myself yet. Just making comments based on what I've read and maybe playing devils advocate a little along the way. I'll be glad when I can see and play for myself anyway. Even if it does look the same as previous games, I'm not that bothered really as I only buy them for the MP.
