Call Of Duty WW2 Benchmarks

Guess Nvidia need Day one Drivers :D O'wait They released!!

Nice.

I suspect we are faster in single player than the 1080 but more even in multiplayer, where CPU/engine limitations come into play. Not too bad considering his Vega 64 is only running at circa 1400Mhz on the core.

Yep!
This title really pushes my i7 3770k I badly need that upgrade!

Nope GTAO is the highest available AO setting the game offers. Either way the settings are the same for both GPU so does it really matter?
Nope HBAO+ is the highest. Also he disabled Depth Of Field and Motion Blur. And Yes a single effect can matter, it can mean the difference between certain GPU winning or losing. For example In Destiny 2 the Highest DoF setting was taxing on NVIDIA GPUs so much they lost to Vega GPUs, without it they win.

The standard practice is to test high end GPUs at max quality, he has 4 options lowered or disabled, that's why Vega 64 won, with these option on, the GTX 1080 would win or become equal with Vega 64, as other sites have already revealed.

GTAO is the highest quality AO the game offers. It even shows it looking the best on the game menu lol Next Excuse? He always turns of Motion Blur settings in his game runs just like 99% of PC gamers do!! Sun Cache shadows isn't a Performance setting, its just a memory setting and is there to just stop shadows rendering in when walking about! Nothing Else

No excuses, just you trying to prove that a video with 3 lowered settings is enough to go against 5 other technical sites with top notch testing expertise. There are no excuses to turn off Motion Blur or Depth of Field, nor Sun Shadows. Obviously these settings do matter and this is what those 5 sites have found out, with them enabled Vega loses or equals the GTX 1080.

Excuses, Excuses

Motion blur or Depth of Field has very little performance hit with Modern GPUs.. Sun Cache Shadows Like I said is NOT a performance setting! Its just to stop shadows from rendering in if ONLY you have the GPU vram for it! 4GB + needed

So you saying the Blur settings are costing the 1080 10+ fps? I very very much doubt that!

Next Excuse?

Yep HBAO+ is a terrible effect, yes, it initially looks better but it creates fake shadows on everything when it shouldn't be....

I just gave you an example of Destiny 2 DoF which has a very large performance impact, and I also gave you 5 other sites with opposite results. Videos are only ever useful when they confirm PROPER testing, not lower settings and come with contradictory results. And No Sun Shadow can have a very large performance impact as it increases shadow draw. Every Call Of Duty has this options since forever.
