Call of Duty4 Graphics Question

Well got my self cod4 cheap as well was sales in ****

installed it just a sec ago and noticed you cant put anything on high for some reason? is high settings restricted same as crysis how do you unlock them ? as i think there should not be a problem playing on high settings with mine rig(in signature).

operating system windows xp 64bit

It's not in the graphics menu, think it's the menu below that. You have to select manual settings and the options are low, medium, high and ultra.
Sorry can't be bothered to find the disk to check.

yeh i know what you mean. you can either select low or normal? I though it was because if my lack of mem (256) on my X1800 but it was the same for mates 8800GT

edit -he doenst mean in the texture menu thing where you can have extra, high etc. in normal graphics menu a few option dont go past normal.

maybe for future improvements to graphics or patches they will open

Its been the same in most cod games, what IW class as normal is basically High.

Can you do it on vista 64? if so what do you use?
