Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood

Boomerang have just dispatched this to me Wyrdo, once I've had a run through I will be up for some MP if your still interested.
 
Finished this today, sadly it's a step back from the first. The gun fight stand off fights are worse than the original. They should have kept them as they were. The same is true for the concentration mode.

Controls for the standoffs are pretty bad, I could breeze through 3 or 4 on the trot and then have trouble even drawing the gun for 5 attempts.

Not a bad rental. 6/10.

Can't be bothered to play through again.
 
I love this online. Might even buy a full release and send the rental back. Quite hectic but you defo need to spend some time unlocking the better classes.
 
I've had lag in a few games much the same as cod when you know you shot first but its pretty enjoyable and I really like the sniping maps were normally I hate them.

Trouble is ranked play you can't play with friends unless we search for the same settings at the same time and it kicks back out after each game. I always hate it when they dont let ranked play with parties.
 
I picked this up yesterday because it looked like it might be fun. I think I'm just on Chapter 2 now, and enjoying it so far. I forgot how .... the guy who isn't Ray's concentration mode thing works - so that was annoying. But I read the manual while I was having my morning poo today, so that shouldn't be a problem in future :)

However, what the hell is this two crosshair concentration mode - I really don't get this at all - kinda co-op concentration thing. I can only ever hit one target, or none...what are you meant to do here?

Just try and get the cross hairs over as many enemies as you can and spam the fire buttons.

Move both sticks for each cross hair and hit each trigger to fire the left or right cross hair.
 
I had this game last week but couldnt stand it...i was stuck on the rattler part...no matter what i did or tried i just couldnt plug the fella and tbh ive been through enouhg controllers so couldnt handle shelling out for another one:p.

Traded it in for Prototype which is much better and not as bloody fustrating as Call of Juarez...ill probably pick it up when its dirt cheap ie in a few mths to finish it off.

I struggled with it a lot on that stage coach bit at the start of Act Two (or was it the end of Act One?). I'd hit maybe one or two bad guys then die as I passed the remaining ones.
Got through eventually though.......
 
The trick with the stagecoach is to shoot even if you dont kill them, build up the concentration for the large wave and then plug them all in one go. I did think it was the hardest bit in the game.

Maybe late on tonight, yeah get used to the buttons first in SP. Although SP isn't that great. Turn the sensitivity upto atleast 3/4s for the SP in preparation for MP. You will get used to the quicker aim needed for MP.

I love it. Particularly manhunt and bounty hunter.
 
I might see you later on in the week then as i'm hoping for an early night today. It will give me some time to get used to it also.
