I have already completed the game,but went for another go at it yesterday,after changing to a new widescreen monitor,set the res to 1680x1050 & it won't let me play with shader model 3 turned on anymore :confused:

Can play fine with SM2 switched on,but screen just goes all coloured when i use SM3

Tried changing the screen res,but can't enable SM3 at any resolution.

All the rest of my games are just fine HL2,COH etc.

Any idea's

I've got the demo, and when I play it after a while the screen would go brown then comeback then brown eventually crash, is this the same kind of problem? Thank god someone else has it I thought it was just my hardware (which is stable at everything), I also use a widescreen res.
 
Mine is just going all multi coloured,but the icon in the bottom right corner & the compass looks ok :confused:

Very strange,especially as i have already completed it with no problems whatsoever,tried reinstalling my drivers etc,but no luck :(

I download the demo again tomorrow and run it different resolutions with SM3 enabled just to confirm the game cant do SM3 and widescreen resolutions - just so we know its not an error on our hardware but the game itself.
 
I've solved my problem :D I was running ATT & 6.9 cats,took out ATT & reinstalled 6.9s with CCC & all is fine

Runs fine @1680x1050 now with SM3,so must have been something ATT was doing to just this game,because all my other games were running just fine
