Please can you check this spec before I purchase .

My budget was £1300 but have stretched it slightly as I feel the 780 is a bargain at current price .This will be my second build in 6 years so a little nerves.

I am willing to stretch to £1500 if any of you guys think it would be more balanced system ,maybe add some orange LED's ect?

Slightly over budget but looks awsome ethermaster,is there any way i could get that 780 in there for a total of £1500?

tough question. 2 x 770s would perform better than a 780 but only in some games, also the added cost of power and extra £££ not sure.

I think id just get a GTX 780 to be honest

OK :( cheaper with the GTX 780 but does leave room for a second card :D

Over budget, I know, but couldn't resist (guess it's easy not to as it doesn't cost me anything :p ).

I used Ether's specs as a template as they are great, but mixed up the orange with some white, as I think the orange/white combo looks real nice with that mobo, and on the black background of the Carbide Air. And made a couple of other changes:

The Corsair SP120 fans' (for the H100i) removable rings provide flexibility when it comes to colour as they can easily be painted and repainted besides having three colour options to begin with.

The BitFenix Spectre 140mm white LED's would enhance the exterior looks of your case, as well as sort you out for white lighting in the interior of your rig. The Hydra will allow you to switch their LEDs on/off easily, as well as control their speed.

The NZXT Hue is a greater optional luxury that would give you even more scope to adjust the lighting however you like. Feeling blue? Turn off the fan LEDs and just change everything to blue with the HUE, etc. LOL. Or make it orangey, or even whiter, give it breathing effect, control the brightness, etc.

Another nice thing about the Hydra and the Hue is that unlike most other 5.25" gadgets, they will both look good vertically, in the Carbide Air's vertical optical drive bays. I'd use an external BluRay/CD/DVD ReWriter if needed.

Why two 1TB HDD's instead of one 2TB? Just to cover both the holes underneath the hot swap bays on the bottom, as well as provide you with the extra option of using one for backup if need arises.

If orange LEDs are your thing, then these Aero Cool fans are also worth a look at.

Love how the grooves on the fans give them rings when they spin.

And they come with "Voltage Reduction cable (12V to 7V) w/ Black Cable Sleeving".

Thanks guys for the input ,I think I will go with

Good choice ;)

Remember the only fan header your going to be using the cpu fan header for the H110 in order to get the system to post the rest will put the 7v molex to 3 pin adapters, you may have to butcher them tho.
