Maybe they’ve modded some of the rotor lights to be white, and aircraft can look very odd at some angles. Given the size of the rotor discs when horizontal, it’s not surprising you wouldn’t be able to see the body if it wasn’t full daylight.Osprey doesn't fit his description anyway. Unless the rotars fold out to the side of the aircraft 90 degrees, instead of down in front.
Also, there was no tail to the thing. Just a "bar" linking the two "wheels".
The "pillars" or struts connecting the "wheels" to the bar were stationery. There were no obvious rotating parts apparently.
He also said the white light illumination was considerably brighter than the green lights on the tips of the ospreys rotars. He said the photos don't do it justice as to how bright it was.
Also, human memory can be rubbish if you don’t know what you’re looking at.
