Calling all fraud experts

You dont pay the tax on a car when you buy it in germany, if the soldier is from belfast but based in germany he will drive it home on his next leave and sell it in his home town, he might get a better price by selling it in belfast especially if its RHD. The car is probably BFG registered, car dealers won't give you a good price on a BFG car as they know you got it cheap by not paying the tax.

This might explain some oddness in the sale.

Or its a scam.

The fact that he has refused to provide his number and and put £3200 with GBP after leads me to believe that he most certainly is not from Belfast. If you read the email above you'll see that it may have been written using a translator tool of some kind. I'm still pretty certain that this is a scam.
