Calling all icybox owners

hi all,
i recently bought an icybox external hardrive and pluged it into my pc, it said your hardware is installed and ready to use although the drive is not visible from my computer, so i tried the disc and noticed it was cracked so can someone either send me the drivers by email or help me resolve my problem with windows not being able to find it, it is visible in device manager

If your using xp (may need sp2), you dont need any. The drive is already seen by windows, just not assigned a drive letter.

Right click on "my computer"
From the menu, left click manage
From the storage menu, click disk management
On the right hand side of the screen, bottom section, you will see a list of drives, just right click and format/assign a drive letter.

Job done.

Edit - Assuming you have the Firewire/Usb one, i havent used a SATA one yet.

Should be ok anyway. It's essentially just a passthrough

I have a SATA one, using usb, the partitions show up automatically in my computer, no drivers and no messing about.
