Not sure how widely known about this is, as far as I know it's just gone live. Doesn't look like there's a huge amount stuff of interest on there just yet but parts are still being collected and there's a good chance of some bargains popping up so it'll be worth keeping an eye on.

I expect I could eke 40-45 out of mine if I cruised just below 70.

On a motorway run I'll get just under 40, usually, sitting at 75-80. Back road thrashes seem to return about 30-35. They aren't thirsty cars at all.

going abit off topic, i heard that lotus gives excellent MPG, someone told me they got over 40MPG, is this true?

Depends which engine you've got. The older K series ones give superb fuel ecomony, mine is the newer Toyota engine which is giving around 27mpg I believe which I think is fantastic, I'm still amazed at how good it is on fuel.

Still, I managed to get 36 mpg out of my k-series on a bristol to milton keynes a-road/b-road blat on a sunny day.
God that was fun :D

I'm going up to yorkshire today!

They don't weigh a great deal which has probably got a lot to do with it.

Even my lardy 111R is only 860kg as standard.
