Calling all space engineeers!

I ended up turning off the Cyberhounds after my first session with them, they are beyond irritating with the frequency that they spawn near you and interrupt any kind of work.

Meteor showers aren't so bad if you have them on the lower setting.
I'm currently attempting to design a retractable roof system that I can put over mine to give them a layer of armour during showers, then I can turn the frequency up a little bit.
Turning off the meteors completely can make the game a bit too quiet for survival mode.

yeah mate that's what I was thinking, don't want it too boring that I have nothing to worry about haha, looking forward to building a ship to get to the other planets
 
I purchased this when it was on sale, but it won't ever get any use until I build my gaming system since it's one of those games I decided to buy so that I'd have something to play on it and can tax it to the fullest (I actually upped the amount of RAM I'll be putting in to 16GB after I purchased it since I wanted to make sure I had more then enough to run everything I threw at it).
 
Just played a few hours, i feel the learning curve is a bit high but really enjoying it.
tbh i only did the tutorials to get an idea of the game but the scope of it is massive!

Its like minecraft mixed with kerbal space program.
 
Hey guys just started this game, or trying to but REALLY stuck.

Trying to play it with a friend, but whenever we join each others worlds we dont spawn together or even near each other it seems.

It goes like this, person who creates the world spawns in daylight at a base, the invited player spawns in the middle of nowhere at nighttime

No idea how to locate each other or if we're actually on the same world etc...

Can someone help please.
 
Press I to GPS tab, click from my current position, raname it copy to clipboard,and post in chat if private server to your friend or steam message. That will show you the GPS location where you are at the moment.

I like that KEEN fixed the sim speed and now I run my personal dedicated server...so cool to be building again.
 
Thank you! I'll have to start playing again, stopped because of that annoyance in the first place.
