Calling me a SkaNk??

I watched the recent live episode and thought the acting and storyline was pretty decent actually. I never tune it on purpose, but I'm pleasantly surprised when I do. The Christmas time episodes about that gay Muslim were actually very good too.

S'pose you guys that live with women could use the time they watch soaps to play online games with me. :D

Sounds perfect to me, Soaps start around 7pm & go on for a couple of hours a night, That gives you time to come play Forza 3 with the OcUk Lads.

Mrs says to me - "Soaps are on go and have a game" - It's about the only time I do what the mrs says #cough#

Truth! +1

I'm sure much of the appeal of 'the soaps' is the fact that avid viewers get to find out in advance what the storylines are, get to watch it all unfolding and then get to relive it once more as they witter on about it next day in the office for hours. Three times the simple minded pleasure for the simpletons.

Bah! Opiate of the masses, I say.

Eastenders is the first thing a public service broadcaster should be cutting back, and probably the last thing they would.

Every time I accidentally watch a few seconds of Eastenders, someone is always saying to someone else, 'ERE! WOSS YORE PROBLEM??'

LMAO :D

I can't stand any soap, I feel the life draining out of me if I'm forced to watch them. The rest of my family watch them all, Hollyoaks, Emerdale, eastenders, Coronation Street, by the time they have watched them all they have been sat in front of the TV all night .

I was at my mum's recently and watched an episode where a woman was giving birth in an office - my brother and I were howling with laughter at points - although we both got told off for laughing when there was a stereotypical melodramatic pause as everyone thought the baby was dead. My mum has told me not to visit again while Eastenders is on - I thought it was better than many comedies these days!
