Calling USA cheaply

Any suggestions on how? I used to be with onetel but need to call this evening and onetel takes some time to set up.

Suggestions and cost?

voipcheap are free too, free to uk landlines too if you stick on a few quid every 3 months.

i googled "how to call usa cheaply" where a listing says I can call the usa for 1p. But I am nervous about using such a service just in case its a scam.

Skypeout is only £0.014 a minute

There are numbers you can call in the UK which connect you on for a couple of pence a minute, I used them a while back and they were pretty decent.

The trouble with these, is that your call could be recorded without you knowing, in an attempt to steal personal details.

I know vice versa (USA to UK) Vonage it pretty good.. Like Free !!!! Well apart from your monthly sub.

I use voipcheap a lot. 10 euros for 3 months of free calls to USA, UK (big ass long list). Once the three months are up you start to use your credit at normal rates.

10 Euros usually lasts me five months or so.

I've found O2 Business with ITS soooo cheap to the US. 14p exc/min.

Just go to chillitalk and buy a voucher, can be done over the net and is safe...in fact i use it to be buy calling time for my mum when she wants to talk to her grandkids in Canada...calls are about 1.5p a minute.
