I have been playing WoW on and off for a while but as I approach level 80 I seem to be struggling with laying out my toolbars.

Does anyone have some screen shots of addons they are running and how you lay out your toolbars please?!
 
hi there, i have a mage as an alt but still he is pretty well setup

screenshot below:



addons that i use off the top of my head are: xperl, sunnart for the overlay at the bottom, omen, recount, sexymap, bartender, satrina buff bars, cooldowntimers3, scorchio, event alert, prat.

It doesn't change much for raids either, I normally put grid up and dps / threat meters.

Best action bar mods are Trinity and Bartender.

Your bar layout shouldn't matter apart from maybe having important stuff grouped together.

Basicaly a square with everything in it, most used icons on one side or top bottom, everything else at the other end, maybe a seperate bar for cooldowns and another for stuff like consumables.

Basicaly everything should be keybound unless it's only used >2 minutes at a time, so where it is doesn't matter.

The other mod you need is Omen for threat. Then again tanking now is so stupidly easy and threat comes in bukets so if you find a tank who can't over aggro you, he's honestly a 10 thumbed blind dribbling mongoloid.

And i use the curse client to manage them all.
 
It's the damage that's silly not the hp pools, but there again I don't PvP now.

I can't seem to get away from the standard unit frames and toolbars so mine all looks pretty much vanilla. I use CT-RA for raid frames but that's about the only change from the normal in-built stuff.

That's the one our mage uses in guild, few other players have adapted it for their use too.

Bartender 4 - your buttons
ButtonFacade + Trinity - makes your buttons look pretty
Dead Boss Mods - boss/raid timers
EGAnnounce - screams void zone when one appears, good for OS3D
kgPanels - the pretty Chi pannels
MalygosHelper - err helps with malygos
Omen - agro thingy
oRA2 - tells raid leader your cool down times
PitBull - raid interface
Quartz - cast bars
Recount - stats
SatrinaBuffFrame - buffs and debuffs
SexyMap - hmmm, a sexmap addon
ZMobDB - the pretty 3D dudes you see on the L+R
