Calls to cancel curry

Are they tikka the ****

I’m so shocked by the news that I might slip into a korma

Stupid woman is gonna get herself into a right lime pickle

Not surprised that Sky UK is taking a leaf out of Sky Australia's book and trying to create an issue where there isn't one.

FYI if you actually go to India, most places call curry 'gravy' as curry is the westernised non-spicy crap version we love to devour.

Why the hell has this hit the news? Some random idiot with 500 followers on Instagram?!

Makes me irrationally angry the press keeps trying to find **** stories and stoke a fire over non existant issues.

Anyone who leads a mainstream news story with what someone said on social media needs removing from their position and ideally be strung up.

It’s not non spicy crap, it’s just developed for a different palette. Do you think Indians would eat pie and mash or battered cod and chips the way we do?

Indians actually import curry from the uk funnily enough.

Many of the western curries are vastly spicer than traditional Ive never actually heard someone say the reverse before, traditional curies are usually described as delicately spiced va the over spiced western versions.

because our versions were originally to hide dodgy meat and later as an exotic import where excess was lavish luxury, like highly sugared desserts.

Native people tendes not to use crap loads of expensive spice to make their daily meal eye warteringly hot

They do now but that’s to sell it to western tourists

But they know all they have to do is find something like this, throw in the word cancel or woke and the permanently outraged right whingers will start moaning about it, sharing the story thus increasing their clicks and revenue.

Maybe it's time for the Mods to have an overhaul of the offensive word list? I mean things are very different than they were in 2007. I believe this lunacy started early 2008 and has only gotten worse?

Yeah that non spicy bit confused me a bit. My mums partner lived in Goa for 6 months and said everything was mild, nothing was hot.

Indians would be stunned if they ate a UK vindaloo or phall.

Why, what else is there then?
At least pork buns. I learned that from my time playing Sleeping Dogs.
Japanese Proverb said:
A man who never eats a pork bun can never be a whole man

They need to leave curries alone though. Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, Malaysian, Thai and any another cuisines that I'm yet to try. There is no food that sits above a good curry
