Sorry

Pigeon_Killer · 4 Nov 2007 at 02:25

As far as I'm concerned Joe should retire now. He's the undefeated champion and hasn't got anyone left to fight. Retire while he's at the top rather than take a few more fights and risk losing his perfect record.

Just hope we're celebrating after the Hatton fight

Morba · 4 Nov 2007 at 02:25

that cut is higher than i thought, not a normal place to get one!

C64 · 4 Nov 2007 at 02:25

I still think kessler will be the new champion when joe retires.
Yea i really hope ricky hatton destroys mayweather.

Oi, oi - and I'm 40+ and can run 5 in a week

Well done Joe - my heart was pumping listening to that on 5 Live, kind of glad I wasn't watching!!

I agree on both counts, Joe could well come unstuck at light heavy.

As for Ricky, not very confident I'm afraid, but I was when he fought Tszyu.

Nice interview from Kessler. Not coming up with excuses like most fighters do after losing.

NokkonWud · 4 Nov 2007 at 02:28

What a fantastic bloke Kessler seems like. Very genuine, I'm impressed.

Morba · 4 Nov 2007 at 02:29

ahh right. calzaghe has gone now, but still nothing from kessler.

i take it he was very gracious in defeat

NokkonWud · 4 Nov 2007 at 02:31

And on a side note, that guys voice (forgotten his name; guy who did the scores and voice overs during the fight) was amazing!

CALZAGHE ONE EIGHTEEN, KESSLER ONE TWELVE. LEFT LEFT RIGHT, LEFT LEFT RIGHT ALL NIGHT!

(He shouts everything - had me in stitches every time he came on).
