cam for VLOGS? (beginner)

hello everyone, I'm currently looking for a camera for vlogs, as I am traveling quiet often and am planning to do vlogs in the future... of course I have heard GOPRO at this moment 100 times

but maybe someone knows something cheaper (or even better and cheaper) thank you in advance, Alex.

What mobile phone do you have? If you’re just starting out why not use that?

The problem with using a GoPro or any camera for that matter that doesn't have a flip screen, is that you can't see what your composition is like when you're filming yourself. I don't know any specific models myself though, I'm sure others can recommend them.

As Spleen Sauce has said, if you've got a decent enough phone, that would be a good one to start off with.

Just bought a Sony RX100 V myself partly for vlogging holidays etc for the family.
Depends on budget but if the V is a bit pricey then somthing like the iii which is 1080p rather than 4K would also be a good choice.
Plenty for sale on eBay and very popular blogging camera .

Use your phone with a dji osmo mobile 2. They are just over £100 new.
