Hello all,

I'm taking a lady friend to Camden on the 2nd and I was wondering if it will be worth us dressing up for it? We would like to as we will be returning to Reading for late drinks to a halloween party.

But, not sure if we will feel a bit like the odd couple out if we are the only ones in costume. We don't mind during the day as we both figured it would be a rather fun site seeing two zombie pirates in Hamleys haha.

But yea, is that weekend considered a halloween weekend or is it all done by then?

Thanks!

I was going to suggest that if you want to go out dressed up and see other people also doing so, that maybe you should be looking to see what bars/clubs in the area are celebrating it with a proper dress up party.

The thing is though, it kind of sounds like you are there in the day/early evening and then head to Reading a bit later. Given that its a Thursday and most are working, you won't find places or people really dressed up at that stage.

The other issue is that a lot of big places will deliberately move their actual celebration night to a Friday or Saturday.
I still remember when I was a student, which is a good few years ago now and bars/clubs were moving St. Patricks Day.

Ah, we are going on the Saturday (2nd) and will be dressed up around London during the day... Do you think it will be a bit silly?
