I think these use laser so it may detect scatter but you would need a jammer for these most probably.

If you jam any rader or laser used by the Police then a £60 fine and 3 points will be the least of your worries.

I really doubt if they have a mobile laser set up and receive one dodgy signal, they will pack up and call for backup to catch a runaway laser jammer. They wouldn't give two hoots.

Also they sell them as garage door openers. Please show me the hundred of cases where laser jammers have been jailed?

You worry too much.

My e39 has a radar detector, my Dad (it was his old car & he's a retired magistrate!!) used to use it all the time, bleeping away, it does my head in.

I put it in the glove box when I got the car & its stayed there since.
