Camera for work, under £90

Work have asked me to look for a new camera. We are a large commercial surveying company so need something that's good for close up details as well as external photos of buildings.

Is there any practical difference between cameras at this price range? I'm a fan of Canon cameras, what would you recommend from this price range?

In that price range have a look at the Samsung PL80 27mm wide angle with 5x optical zoom, Nikon Coolpix S3000 4x optical wide angle image stabliser, Canon PowerShot A3100 IS Image stabliser 4 x optical zoom and if you can stretch a little further look at the Canon Ixus 105 or Samsung WB550 these are both about £20 over budget but very much worth it. Hope this helps a little.
