Been doing fog shots today and using different lens's however i know notice the mirror inside the camera has a blue tint to it. Is this normal?

You shouldnt really be exposing that too much, as while its wide open dust will go out of its way to get in there! :p
Otherwise, dunno. Any of your pics have a blue tint?
What camera?

ah ok , anyway of cleaning that mirror?... As it does have what looks to be particles on it.

On the exposing part , when changing lens's i do it very quickly

Can you see the said particles through the viewfinder? If not, then don't worry about it. If you can see them, then clean it like you would the sensor and remember to be carefull.

Yes i can see what look to be fibres on the viewfinder , looks like i'll need a mirror cleaner of some sorts..

Be aware that you shouldn't apply any pressure to the mirror - be extremely careful when remove dirt from it !!

Damn it , i used a very fine cloth on it one for cleaning my glasses.. Hope i haven't done any damage to it

Just to emphasise that, the mirror is easier to dmage than the sensor and is very sensetive to pressure. It also forms part of the focus system so even minor damage can be a major problem!

Yeh , hopefully they will fix it..

At the moment i feel abit sick because my pride and joy is messed up by ME , so im upset with myself now

Took it to a specialist , it had 37 dust spots on it some have been on there for ages it took him ages to get it off... But the bad news is he tells me the sensor cleaner is faulty as it's not cleaning it properly and he recommended me to get canon to replace it..

Inbuilt sensor cleaning isn't very good anyway, You'd be better off spending the money on some cleaning kit and start manually cleaning it yourself.

Yeh but if its faulty , it still needs to be sorted out...

Btw whats a better canon camera up from the eos 400D ?

Why? Might as well leave it if its not affecting the use of the camera in anyway. All you are missing out on is the inbuilt sensor cleaning which isn't very good in the first place. Up from a 400D; 450D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 5D, 1D, 1Ds etc etc
