Camera Notch on new MacBook Air

I though there was a way to make the top bar Black all along to hade the camera notch at the top?

@Rooky007: Yeah, I remember digging into that when I first got mine. There's a “Scale to fit below built-in camera” option under display settings, but it kinda kills the extra screen real estate. I ended up just embracing the notch – weirdly, after a while, I stopped noticing it.

I've had my mac air m2 for a couple of years now, I barely even noticed the notch from the start, now it doesn't even register as being there.

Got an m3 pro and honestly, I forget it is there most of the time.

Well after a week having this I hardly notice it now so that great.. Loving my MacBook Air m4

Still hoping that Apple will add FaceID to the notch, which IMO would justify it being there a bit more...
