Can 2 gtx 670's handle 3D?

Hey guys,I'm thinking about purchasing the Nvidia kit for some 3D gaming.

I've heard that 3D takes a huge hit on your framerate.

I'd like to play Crysis 3 in 3D, I'm getting around 70-100 FPS max setting's,Will 3D half my framerate?

Please let me know what you guys think of 3D and if it really is worth it.

Try it on a single card first, 3d is running just fine for me on a single 670

Crysis 3 has it`s own version of 3d which does not kill the fps. One card is enough imo.

I used 2 670s for 3D and they were great. Metro LL played well with no AA, tomb raider struggled a bit with TressFX but was still playable, Skyrim great, LFD2 great, Witcher 2 good with no AA. I didn't play Crysis 3 in 3D but Crysis 2 was fine.
