Can a 300D do infra-red?

Don't suppose anyone knows of any lists of cameras that are suitable for infra red photography? I was thinking of upgrading from the s5500, and it's something i'm interested in, and obviously don't want to ruin all chances of doing it. Also has anyone tried this with the fuji s5500 (my current camera)? Would be interested if this is suitable. Thanks

I wasn't aware that the Dimâge 7 had such fantastic IR capabilities!
They aint that expensive second hand, either... May have to nab myself one
