Can a Wii browse photos?

Can it relatively nicely browse/show photos? Stored on a NAS?

The wii can browse photos, it works from SD cards and i think USB, im not sure whether you can browse photos from your NAS, i sold my wii months ago so i cant check for you.

I don't own a Wii, but we're planning on getting the kids one for XMas...

If the Wii has a good/solid/friendly means of browsing photos (from a NAS) that would be mighty useful!

Rember the maximum output from the Wii is 480p via component so not ideal for photos.

Yeah it can do it really nicely and quickly. However you'd be better off doing on a HD console as your pictures will look nicer on a HD telly.

The Wii? Sorry. SD card or USB pen only afaik.

If you want a console that can do that, and do it well the PS3 is the only real option imo. The Photo gallery on that is top tbh.
