Can an active Display Port --> DVI adapter retain 100% image quality?

Oh, and another thing in favour of the CS1822 HDMI KVM (as well as being future proof) is it can support >60hz.(Aten say it can support 1440p @144hz). So at least I should be able to use the 75hz my current monitor offers.
