A good site for Tutorials for use with 3D Studio Max 8/9.

Using this at uni for my coursework and want to get up to scratch, so far I have done a Glass Table, however the tutorial was a bit dated and some of the functions were no where to be found!

Thanks All...

http://www.3dtotal.com/ has some decent tutorials.

You will always find tutorials are written in previous versions but basic modelling tools haven't changed that much in max, neither has the interface since version 7.

i think www.3dbuzz.com did what you want though not sure what version as the tutorials are a few years old. Could you not download the older version for whatever tutorial you got then once you've mastered that version go on to the version you got now and teach yourself the new features which shouldn't be too hard for a genius like you ;)

3dbuzz.com do a paid for dvd Max Fundamentals which is well worth the money.

Ego lounge has good video tutorials -

Wow, I didn't know Eric Maslowski did so many more tutorials, i've watched one of his about modelling a head from splines. Probably the best tutorial i've ever followed so that site i'm sure is great- i'll definitely be checking it out anyway!
