Hi there,

I've googled it and yet still have no clue what it is. Does it regulate websites? Do companies have to conform to certain standards?

What exactly is it?

Cheers for anyone who answers.

This as well as a body that helps to invent standard protocols, for cross platform use.

Didn't they do html5 and a lot of the XML stuff.

Ahh. So nothing is essential then? Is it pretty accurate or do people not take note of it? Is it worth trying to conform to their protocols?

Cheers for that!

I think it's very important to conform. If you conform it will work on all browsers desktop and mobile. Which means you don't **** customers off or lose customers as they can't use your site on their browser.

People won't take notice of the symbol and won't know what it means. But they will know if your website doesn't display properly, or parts of it don't work.
