Ok, so I've installed xsplit and set everything up according to some video guides I watched. However when I click within xsplit to broadcast to my twitch.tv channel, it doesn't work. It says in xsplit it's streaming but when I open a browser and go to my channel, there is nothing there. If I check in xsplit it says the bit rate is 12kbps so something is obviously wrong.
The only way I have figured out to get the streaming to work is to go to justin.tv and click "live" at the top right. However when I do that the streamed video is only of the top left corner of my screen so is useless. In fact, now that I just tried it again I can't even get that to work. I click "start" and it counts down 3, 2, 1 and then stops and asks me to enter a title. I do that and click ok and the it does the same thing again.
So I'm at a loss. There seems to be 3 seperate problems all happening which together prevent me from streaming which is a shame as I think it'd be fun to do it when I'm laddering in SC2. Can anyone help?
EDIT: you can see my channel here http://www.twitch.tv/beelzebro as you can see only the top left corner was recorded. I managed to get full screen recording if I turn the resolution waaaay down in xsplit but then the quality is unbearable and it's not worth doing.
EDIT 2: no idea if there's a better subforum than GD for this, couldn't think of one off the top of my head so I just stuck this here. Apologies if it'd be better off elsewhere
