Can anyone recommend a quickbooks style app/website

As per title, can anyone recommend anything else or is Quick Books the best? I want to invoice customers from my phone and laptop. Would like it to connect to my bank as well.

At the moment im using Word for Invoices and Excel for keeping track of payments etc. Got a free trial to quickbooks but worried about spending too much time setting it up and find out there are better alternatives when I start paying for it!

Any help is appreciated!

I use FreeAgent and it’s great for Sole Trader type stuff.

Anything bigger / more complicated and Xero is the way to go.

Another vote for FreeAgent, used it in the past and was ideal for my needs which seem to match yours

I use quickfile, which is free and does everything i need. Although given, I've never used or tried any others

Not sure if its possible, but how do I link an expense to an invoice so I know what expense is relevant to each individual invoice? (quick file)

We use Xero and it's pretty decent.

Xero, best accounts package on the market. Don’t use Sage, ever.
