Can Google nest mini play over Bluetooth rather than itself?

I'm thinking of going with Google over amazon for my home assistant.

What is fairly important is being able to play stuff over a different device not the nest speaker. As I have amps and speakers that will obviously be better.

I know there's no aux out but can the Bluetooth send audio to another device?

This is OK in the living room as I have chromecast and this works well. But my bedroom amp doesn't have hdmi in.

Edit.
If I'm right it does not have this capability. It can only receive.

I've got one of the nest hubs set up to play to an amp via bluetooth, you can change the primary speaker on the app to a bluetooth one, not sure if it works on the mini ones

This looks like what you need:

Dude i already said you can, you're overthinking it:p

You can choose where music plays, on the device itself, on a different device, on a group of devices or a paired bluetooth speaker. This is an example of what you see in the home app:

It's really flexible :)

Actually.. Just reading the screen shot... Specifically where is says.. "when you ask living room speaker.. It plays on this speaker"

From any Google nest
You can say 'play the cheeky girls on Spotify on living room speakers'
And also 'play barbie girl on Spotify on study speakers' and it will play? Different devices.. Multiple Bluetooth devices?

Or

You have to be in the room with that speaker?

Obviously you can tell I have no nests

Cheapest I can find is £50 on eBay but yeah I forgot they had discontinued them

Yeah I looked at that. Annoying
Still got to turn the amp on though.

I think you can play Spotify on chromecast anyway

You could always hard mod a speaker port to the mini. I was looking at doing this a while back, it's fairly simple to do if you know your way around a soldering iron.

This works well!
Followed the setup. My new Google mini now plays music through my Bluetooth amp.

When I upgrade my amp in living room I guess I'll need one that can turn on remotely. Only unavoidable bottleneck

Update. Bluetooth is flakey on this.
It's actually better using my phone than the nest mini. Maybe I'll just use my phone and get rid of the nest mini.

Issue seems to be I switch my amp BT to USB a lot for work calls.
My phone has no issues. But often nest seems to forget it should be paired with the amp and starts playing from itself.

Annoying my phone works flawlessly with this!
